Day 02 : ANTANANARIVO – PERINET

Departure towards the East; the most wooded and verdant area of the island. Crossing steep gorges and rolling plains. On the road, stop at Marozevo to visit the reptilian farm of Pereyras to admire, among others, the chameleons of East Malagasy, amphibians and other reptiles, as well as various butterflies and other mammals. Lunch in a restaurant en route. Arrival in Perinet in the afternoon. This tiny village on the edge of the railway is surrounded by a thick forest. Arrival in Manambato, lunch in a restaurant. Continuation by boat on the Pangalanes canal.
