Day 05 : DIEGO SUAREZ – MONTAGNE D’AMBRE – JOFFRE VILLE

The Montagne d’Ambre National Park is one of Madagascar’s most important natural parks. It is located in the heart of the tropical rainforest that covers the flanks of the ancient volcano of Amber Mountain. The fauna and flora are very rich there: large endemic trees, epiphytes plants, pandanus, palms and medicinal plants, several varieties of diurnal and nocturnal lemurs, butterflies, invertebrates and birds such as blue pigeons, crested ibis … The walk in the forest will also be the opportunity to discover the beautiful waterfalls along the route.

Day 06 : JOFFRE VILLE – ANKARANA EST – ANKIFY

The Ankarana Reserve offers one of the most striking shows in Madagascar with its erosional forms of crystal-clear rocks that earned it the nickname « tsingy ». A huge rocky plateau is dug by erosion and is home to a large endemic fauna and flora adapted to the extreme aridity of the region. The massif is traversed by a network of caves and underground tunnels still largely unexplored to this day, and which served as shelter to the local population during periods of trouble. There are still many traditional burials. Several choices of circuits in the park will be offered according to your physical condition.

Poursuite vers Nosy Tanikely, petite île à 40 min de Nosy Komba, parc national sous-marin protégé. Les fonds sous-marins offrent un stupéfiant spectacle multicolore du récif corallien à quelques mètres de la surface.
